December '99 thinking what a lot of grass we've got.

Under the grass we found the remains of a greenhouse, rotten wood, but most of all shattered glass, we then had to make an important decision, do we continue to try and clear the ground and run the risk of glass fragments in our veg or give the plot up. We've stuck at it and taken bucket loads of glass to the recycling centre.
Bindweed has been a major problem but persistence in removing roots has solved it.
